Jacquard Parts FAQs.
Each hook in the jacquard head is tied to one or more harness cords. The cords pass down through the comber board to the healds that carry the warp threads. When the jacquard selects and lifts a hook, its cords raise those warp ends, forming the shed that weaves the pattern.
